you can select it in the Layer Pallete, then Copy it from the original file, and then Paste it in another file- English

Select the Layer in the [Layer Palette]
-> Go to [Edit]->[Copy]
-> Open the second file
-> Go to [Edit] ->[Paste]
If you want the object to be pasted in the same position as before, select [Paste to shown position]
Alternatively, you can also use keyboard keys Ctrl+C for Copy and Ctrl+V for Paste. That way it will be faster.
