How do I fix the lag with big brushes?

This has made the program almost unusable for me, especially since I work mainly with concept art which tends to require higher resolutions and, consequently, bigger brushes.
For reference, my computer has an i5 9600k and 16 GB of RAM. It also has a GTX 1660 (although the GPU is apparently not relevant to this software's performance)
I have tried all sorts of thing that I have read from other forums such as:
- Messing around with the gap of the brushes (this did not decrease the lag whatsoever)
- Fiddling with the tablet settings (this did not help either)
- Updating my tablet drivers (already updated)
- Disabling the XboxStat.exe process (this process isn't running in the first place)
- Decreasing the number of undos (had no effect either)
- Adjusting the percentage of memory and storage space the software can use (had no effect)
It is also important to note that my CPU and RAM only increase in their usage by around 20% when the lag begins (in total this is around 30%, so there's still plenty of room for the CPU and RAM to work harder).
Does anyone have a clue as to how I can fix this? CSP would be the perfect tool for me, if only it wasn't for this lag. I've seen plenty of concept art being produced in CSP, and I doubt that these artworks were produced under the conditions that I'm experiencing, simply because I cannot imagine a professional artist of that degree of skill being willing to tolerate such severe lag.

1 year ago>> I have noticed that when the brush size exceeds 500 (especially for thick oil paints), there is a very bad lag of drawing the desired shape or line with the pen.
It's been a long time since the larger the brush size, the heavier it is.
Is it to reduce the value of image stabilization?
By the way, the PC I own is
Ryzen9 3900X, RAM 128GB
Ryzen7 2700, RAM 64GB
Core i7 8700, RAM 64GB
However, you will have similar symptoms.- Japanese
