Certain materials previously downloaded are not displayed,
Even if I try to download again, the message "Failed to download material." is displayed.
I tried trial and error to see if I could solve it myself by referring to this question (https://www.clip-studio.com/clip_site/support/faq/detail/svc/64/tid/94082).
・Although the folder is displayed in the material list of [Material management], the contents are not displayed (the name is also hidden and there is only a blank space), and if you try to delete this, CLIP STUDIO itself will be forcibly terminated. increase.
・Folders are not displayed in [Downloaded material collection] and cannot be deleted in the first place.
・Although it is displayed in My Downloads in [CLIP STUDIO ASSETS], it cannot be deleted.
Such is the situation.
I have an urgent need to use the material, so I'd like to find a way to resolve it.
I am using CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX and OS is MacOS Monterey version 12.3.
Thank you for your guidance.

1 year agoOpen CLIP STUDIO
Other CLIP STUDIO PAINT etc. will end
Click the "gear" icon in the upper right of CLIP STUDIO
Select "Rebuild Material Database" in the "Maintenance Menu"
It may take a while, like 10 minutes or more, but wait
It would be nice if an "error" appeared here
If there is no error, please delete what could not be deleted again
If you get an error
Exit CLIP STUDIO
Open the documents (folder) on the mac
Look for "RemakeMaterialDB_Error.txt"
Open it with TextEdit.app etc.
it's just a text file
The text gives the location of the file with the error
just before the cryptic folder after the last slash (/)
Please delete the folder with the two-digit number
for example
/Users/namae/Library/CELSYS/CLIPStudioCommon/Material/10/20/cryptic folder name
Find (20) in this and delete it
Leave 20 and don't mind deleting folders like crypt
After deleting, open CLIP STUDIO again and try "Rebuild Material Database" in the maintenance menu
try re-downloading etc.

Message1 year agoThank you both for your advice!
When I performed "reconstruction of the material database",
The message "Some materials may have failed to be registered due to file corruption, etc." is displayed.
After checking again, I was able to delete the damaged file from the [Material Management] material list,
After that, after re-downloading the material, I was able to use it normally.
Thank you very much for the quick resolution. thank you very much.- Japanese
