Subscribed on App Store but app is asking for password

I downloaded Clip Studio for iPad from the Apple App Store and subscribed via the App Store a few years ago. I’ve never had any problem using the software before (I’ve used it for years), however yesterday when I opened the app it took me to the “Getting Started With Clip Studio” dialogue - and when I tap “I already have a license” I get asked to input my password - which as far as I know I don’t have. Is this part of a new update, a bug, or should I have been sent a ClipStudio username and password when I paid my subscription via the App Store? (It has never asked for one before).
It may not be related but I updated to iOS16 a couple of days ago (although there was no problem initially).
I’d really appreciate any help.

You created a CLIP STUDIO account and set a password when you created it.
You need a CLIP STUDIO account to ask questions here, and "SomethingFace" is your username.
If you don't know your password, reset it.

Thanks for your help - the link you provided contained the information I needed. To summarise the solution - anyone who subscribed on iPad before April 2020 (like me) will not have a username or password. However the link you provided provides a means to register. I registered using my Apple ID email and successfully retrieved my subscription.
