How to upload an image with screentones onto social media?

Hi all! I hope someone can help here because I'm finding it very hard to find any info or help on this subject (and a lot of artists keep their secrets!)
I was wondering about screentones and how to upload them onto social media? (instagram for example) For years I have been using clip studio to make my manga pages and I have no problem uploading stuff onto my website without the tones going crazy. But when it comes to advertising my stuff on soical media it looks rubbish and I have to turn everything grey to make it look presentable online! (Which takes the character away a bit.) OR I have to export the page really big to get it looking presentable.
A few artists I follow I know use clip for their manga as well and use screentones, which when they show off things the screentones aren't messed up and all presented well! I feel like I'm missing something when I'm exporting my screentones. I hope someone can help me out here. Thank you for reading!

10 days agoThe more image is scaled down the more moire effect you get. Which means, that your website is probably showing them at 100% scale, but social media in relatively small size and almost always at lowest (computer screen) dpi quality. So you gotta adjust your screentone scaling for small sizes. Make the dots bigger, so they can be visible in small size images. You can also replace them with noise screentone.
