All textered brushes appearing round

So I downloaded a bunch of brushes that have other shapes/ textures (such as a flat brush). They worked fine until I got a V2 update and now they are all appearing as round, for example the "painterly blender" would normally have a different shape but it's just round - I read on a reddit thread that restarting my PC would fix the problem but it didn't. Anything I can do to fix this issue?
