Clip Studio Modeler Character Configuration Options Greyed Out

Trying to follow guides to use Modeler but seems when using "3D character" all options under character configuration are greyed out these days, sketch is pre selected and can only import image file types like png or jpeg.
Tried finding updated information to what changed but everything is years old so no idea.
