Is CSP optimized using Metal for Macs and iPads?

Hey there,

I generally love the app, but navigation speed is a concern. Panning, zooming, as well as transforming larger selections is very slow, sometimes painfully slow. I have an iPadPro 2017.

I am wondering, can the app become faster if Metal is used? I have used other metal optimized apps like Affinity Designer/Photo or Procreate, and they are very fast at almost every operation.

Would love to hear some clarification here :)

Is someone from Celsys on these forums? I hope they can answer the question :)

As much as I appreciate the efforts to bringing the whole app to iOS, it appears that that not all areas are optimized for it. I guess it is no easy task and takes time. Still, what priority is given to optimizing the app for speed? I like functions and features, but I prefer a fluent workflow even more. The app is very expensive and subscription based, so I tend to expect good support and a really great experience.

People from Celsys don't regularly read this, it's more for user-to-user questions.

Thanks @PeskySoda, I just wrote them. I am not a big fan of product forums where users are left on their own, but so be it. Judging by the amount of answers my guess is that either everyone else is OK with the iOS version, or that almost no one uses it (high price tag?) and thus don’t care anyway ;)
