How do I copy and paste a selection to another layer?

4 years agoCLIP will select the selected area
Cannot be pasted on another layer
When I paste the copy
A new layer will be added to the pasted part

The selection itself can be used on other layers by selecting "Quick Mask" or "Stock Selection" from the selection menu.
