Hello, I have the English version of Clip Studio Paint but wanted to know if there was a way to switch the language from English to Japanese.

Because the license key is English version limited so no way to switch to Japanese version, same as the user interface, CSP does not have language UI feature.

It seems no way to purchase JP Download Load version because of the limited to JP credit card. So, If you want a Japanese UI, you may try to purchase a CSP Box version at Amazone.co.jp since it accept common credit card, but I do not purchase JP ver. myself so I can not guarantee anything.

CLIP STUDIO PAINT is now installed or updated, you can now select your language
Several windows will be opened at the time of installation, so please be careful

Kumon san,
Since serial numbers of language versions other than Japanese version can not be common with Japanese version, it does not make sense to choose Japanese when installing.

Software can not be started unless the corresponding language of the serial number entered at the time of license registration matches the language of the installed software. In that case, you will need to install the software again and select the language again.

This is my guess, but probably because of maintenance version of the software, I think that it will be possible to select the language by making all language versions the same installation file.

But the Japanese version of Crista is perhaps due to the service and it will be different from the foreign language version. (It is mainly CLIP STUDIO, PAINT is the same one.)
Actually, even between foreign languages, I do not seem to be able to share serial numbers of Chinese version and English version, for example.

So far Krista is not only the serial number, the installation file is different thing, the version is older, both Japanese and foreign languages. Updates to the foreign language version are waiting for several months.

The version maintenance of all language versions, including version 1.6.7, has become almost the same. Now both Japanese version and foreign language version of Crista are version 1.6.8. To be honest this is a good thing for those who use foreign language versions, so it can not be said useless.

But after all it is distinguished by serial number and it is easy to misunderstand language selection.

This is a Chinese version of CLIP STUDIO, but it is somewhat lonesome compared to the Japanese version.
