How do I fix my blur tool when it wont blend my colors?

So I use or try to use my blur tool and it wont blur the color,it just smudges it a little bit and then it wont fully blur it. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

6 years agoOpen your brush sub-tool properties (brush engine),
in the "ink" category try reducing the following parameters.
"mix ground color" has 2 modes , so make sure you switch those too, and see how they blend the pixel colors.
Or just try copying the settings in the image , maybe it will work out for you.
