I want to use dodging (emission) or overlay in the compositing mode, but I can't write even if I change the compositing mode of the layer to them. I can only draw with a pen in normal mode, how much is it?

3 years agoMaybe the canvas is white?
In the brightening composite mode, nothing is displayed even if you draw in black.
Try changing the color of the canvas, or pour a slightly darker color underneath the layer you're drawing with dodging (emission) or overlays.
