About malfunction after saving the canvas

When I save the PAINT canvas, it freezes and I have no choice but to exit (waiting for a response, it stays forever). It seems to be a problem with PAINT itself, as other files will be in the same state instead of individual files. I tried other apps on my PC while it was frozen, but it's not particularly heavy and works. Also, after opening the canvas, I was able to save the material from the layer, but I could not export the canvas to JPG. The state of the tool (pen size, etc.) does not remain. Will it be cured if I uninstall → reinstall it? Also, in that case, can the downloaded brushes be restored to the current state?

    Reinstalling after uninstalling is one way to fix the problem.
