Question About Deselecting Text

Currently when I'm entering text into Clip Studio, a blue selection box surrounds the text and obscures the picture that I'm working on. To get a better look at the picture, I have to deselect the text, which right now requires me to select a different raster layer instead. When lettering comics, I usually have a lot of text layers and only a single raster layer, so I'm always scrolling down to select it. The regular deselect shortcut (Crtl-D) doesn't work on text. Is there a way to get rid of this annoying blue box in an easier way than I'm currently using?
