At first, the image quality was good, but I set it to 1200dpi to increase the resolution. It was good at first, but after all I fixed it to 350dpi. Then it became much worse than the original. How can I fix it ...?

Before lowering the resolution from 1200dpi, if you have a backup such as duplicating the illustration or saving it with a different name, how about opening it again?
Is it a safety measure to do so before doing anything unusual?

Raster data will always deteriorate more or less as you increase or decrease the resolution. Of course, the larger the change range, the greater the deterioration. Also, the more the resolution is changed, the worse the deterioration will be.

For the time being, this is common sense when drawing pictures digitally.

In many cases, the vector data part is not affected by raising or lowering the resolution, or it can be corrected, but in the case of raster data, it may be "a little better" with various image corrections, but basically it is restored. I can't do that.

I can't say clearly because the raster data and vector data parts of the illustration in question are unknown, but when I look at the question text, it seems that the resolution changes are repeated significantly, so at least the raster data part is redrawn. I think there is no choice.

There is a function called smart smoothing.
Why not try it on a layer that has become rough. It may be a little easier to fix.
