Clip Studio Paint keeps randomly deleting my files/making them become unsupported file formats, how do I stop it?

When I try to open a file, sometimes a message saying "Unsupported file format" comes up.
Sometimes Clip Studio just outright deletes my files.
This has been happening for over 3 months on random files (but usually on more recent files), it's getting ridiculous.
I really love Clip Studio and want to continue using it, so how do I fix this problem?

    Is the program exited correctly?

In the case of Windows, even if you finish with the correct procedure, you may be working on the continuation of saving behind the scenes.
Also, in the case of laptops, if you "close" the monitor, the same situation as forced termination may occur.
Please allow sufficient time to save the file and terminate the program.

"Unsupported file format" is a corrupted file.
If the save and exit procedures are not done correctly, it will be a "corrupted file".

Ah I didn't know that, thank you very much! I will definitely make sure to save and exit properly next time. I will see if Clip Studio will still randomly delete/corrupt my files. I will post another ask if it happens again. Again, thank you very much!

Once resolved, you don't have to choose the best.
