How to apply color correction to the gradation range for multiple layers

A gradation is drawn in white on the attached "partial color tone correction layer".
I would like to apply color correction to the gradation range for layers below this layer. What should I do?
I tried layer masks and tried various things, but I couldn't get it right.

Hold down the (ctrl) key and click the thumbnail of "Partial color correction layer" on the layer palette.
(Same as "Create Selection" in "Selection from Layer" in the "Layer" menu)
You can make a selection, so add your favorite tonal correction layer.
If you want to add multiple tonal correction layers, create a folder
Use the selection to apply a layer mask to the folder
Set the folder's "Composite Mode" to "Pass"
If you need a "partial tonal correction layer", leave it as it is and hide it if you don't need it.
