Brush being transparent even though opacity options are set to 100

Hi, ive recently downloaded a brush that has a bit of transparency in it even though both layer and brush opacity are set to 100, is there any way i can make it not transparent completely? like the second example on the right? thanks!

2 years agoOpen the "Sub Tool Details" palette of the brush and set "Composite Mode" in the "Ink" item to "Normal" to try.

2 years agoThere is also an item called "Brush Density" in the "Brush Tip" category of the sub tool details, so make sure that it is also 100% / Pen pressure setting is not turned on.
