Light color

Currently, I am drawing a picture while reading a book.
At the stage of painting the hair, the gradation is multiplied by the lower layer, and the lower layer is placed as an overlay and clipped to the solid color of the hair.
I put the color on it with a black G pen, but the color is inevitably lightened. The dark part of the gradation is lightly colored, but the bright part is not.
How should I deal with it?

I didn't understand the explanation well, so please put a screenshot of the "Layer Palette" to see what kind of layer structure it has.

Especially, "Gradation is multiplied by the lower layer, and the lower layer is overlaid". This area is refreshing.

Isn't it meaningless to multiply by black?

We sincerely apologize to everyone who answered. When I restarted it, it worked normally.
Also, I am very sorry that I posted a question that was confusing due to my lack of explanation and typographical errors.

The content of the question was that when I painted my hair, I tried to add dark and light shades with gradation. At this time, I first applied a dark gradation with a multiplication layer on top of the solid fill, and then applied a bright gradation with an overlay layer, but when I tried to put a highlight on this with a new layer, it worked well. I asked such a question because the color did not come out.

I will also post a photo of the layer composition.

    I'm very sorry this time.
