My pen pressure is not working, even though it is set for all brushes. What can I do?

I'm currently using the 30-day free version of Clip Studio Paint. The pen pressure function doesn't work, even though it's set for all brushes. The lines stay the same thickness, no matter how hard I press or tilt the pen. I use the HUION PW517 pen, which does have pen pressure and tilt, and pen pressure works on other apps like Ibis Paint, but not here. Is this function perhaps not included in the 30-day free version? What else could be the reason for this and what can I do?
