i just activated my 6 months free update pass but it doesnt let me upgrade to v3

am I misunderstanding something or arent I supposed to get v3 if I activate my update pass?

10 days agoYou don't need a button to update. You can download the latest version from website or install a trial one (trial is the latest). It won't affect your licenses. What matters is that it says active.
