I'm trying to bring an object from the materials tab to the canvas and when I do click and drag something, it just doesn't work. The cursor turns into the red circle with a line through it and I don't know how to make it stop. Would anyone be able to help me?

Modeler is not for 3d modeling. It is for setting up premade models for use in CSP as materials. Use an actual 3d program.

You cannot edit and save materials that are not from outside. Only very few official object materials are editable (textures). ASSETS are copyrighted, so it won't let you change them.

I'm trying to use the materials that came with it (i.e.: the body models) and they're not going onto the canvas for me to edit them. Do I have to download character models from the store? Is that what you're trying to tell me?

You can tweak official drawing doll bodies in CSP itself, you don't need Modeler for changing height, hip size, shoulder size, etc.

Modeler (especially the English version) is basically a bone and texture setup program for models made in another program (Blender, Maya, etc) to make sure the bones/rigging and textures can be read well by CSP.
