CS & CSP Closing suddenly

  • VIEW 360

So I open CSP and start working and it sometime just close... It doesn't matter what I'm doing, if I'm resizing something, changing brushes, using text tool, switching between canvas, it just closes without any warning and I lost all my unsaved work.

Same thing has been happening with CS (the launcher), Sometimes I don't even need to do anything and it closes just like that.

Honestly I don't know what do do, I'm having this problem since before I bought this computer, and it continues to close. I really like to use CSP but I can't afford to miss as much of the work process as is happening.

My computer configs:
32GB RAM
WIN 10
373GB of FREE memory
CPU Ryzen 7 5700X
GPU Radeon RX 6600M
Motherboard B550M Aorus Elite

    1.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app using the method described in the FAQ below.
If that doesn't work, try all the other items as well. Your problem may differ from the title, but please try it if you like.
    >Windows/macOS: I can't start up Clip Studio Paint - Clip Studio Official Support https://support.clip-studio.com/en-us/faq/articles/20190134
    >CLIP STUDIO PAINT won't start after [CLIP STUDIO PAINT has stopped working] or [CLIP STUDIO PAINT quit unexpectedly] is displayed. - Clip Studio Official Support https://support.clip-studio.com/en-us/faq/articles/20190140

    2.
Try changing your Windows power settings to [High Performance].
Update your Windows and security software, and exclude CLIP STUDIO and CLIP STUDIO PAINT from your security software's monitoring.

    3.
In CSP's [File → Preferences → Performance], try setting the memory allocation [%] to about 70%.
Also, if you can select a disk other than [Startup Disk] for [Virtual Memory Creation Destination], try changing it once → restarting CSP → changing it back again, etc., if you like.

If you try it and none of them apply, try writing it from "Post an Answer" below and you may find another answer.
You can also send a question directly to official support.

In addition, I think it's a good idea to frequently [Save over (ctrl + s)] while working, even if it's a small project.
Also, if you save once and continue working, a backup file of CSP will be created. Even if it's not a complete file, you may be able to recover some of it.

Well, I tried all of these suggestions and nothing worked, and now I can't even download my brushes on the CS cause it don't stop 10 seconds opened. I tried to contact the official support too, but they didn't replied me... One more thing I forgot to put on, I'm having this problem for more than a year and with previous versions too, I really don know what could be done to fix it.

Well, I'm not sure if these apply, but:
Update Windows and your security software, scan your PC, and then exclude the CLIP STUDIO folder from your security software's monitoring.
Also, try updating your graphics driver.

If nothing works, it may be quicker to reinstall the whole PC.
If you don't want to reinstall the whole PC, write the URL of this topic and contact official support again.
When doing so, I don't think you'll get a reply if you use the "Request" form, so be sure to use the "Question" form.
If you don't get a reply, keep asking and reminding them.

It seems that I managed to find a solution!!!! First I put both CS and CSP to open in admin mode and reseted the PC. As a result, they stopped closing, BUT the tablet driver did not work correctly, not taking pressure on the pen. So I also set the driver to open as Adm, returned the CS and CSP settings to open without Adm mode and reseted the PC again. So far it's working perfectly, apart from the fact that I have to start the tablet app manually every time I turn on the PC. Thank you all for trying to help me fix it :D
