How to create UI icon with automatically inverted color for both Dark and Light interface versions?

I tried to create my own icon (.png, dark-gray color (same as default Light interface icons) with transparent background), but when changing the color of the interface (Light -> Dark), the color of the icon does not change automatically and it is hard to see. I know that I can change the background for the icon in the settings, but I would still like to know the way how to make icons with automatically changing color.

4 years agoI think that the color of the icon registered by the user cannot be changed.
If you really want the default icon, make the icon dark gray and light gray. (2nd image)
I can't use it with icons with a lot of painted area, but I think that it will be like that with a simple design.
Unfortunately, there is no choice but to do something with your fingertips.
