Material folder is too large to move with the program. Can I move the data myself and then change the location through Clip Studio?

Or will that mess up the program or ruin my materials or something?

Because I have tried to move it through CSP's launchpad app and it takes several hours only to fail each time. I'd like to scoot it onto a cloud based drive (Dropbox) if possible so I can free up some room on my main solid state drive. I'm on the wacom mobile studio pro 13 and those SSDs they came with just never had a lot of space.

You cannot move all of the material, but you may be able to relieve the burden.

You can change the "source for saving" from CLIP STUDIO settings.

If you want to change the location where the program is installed,
Once, uninstall "CLIP STUDIO PAINT" and "CLIP STUDIO" in order of "Apps and Features" in Windows settings, and restart the computer.
In the process of reinstalling CLIP STUDIO PAINT again, you can select the installation destination arbitrarily. (It does not affect the storage location of the material)

That's what I did. When I tried to change the material location it took hours and crashed twice. Never did complete the move, sadly.

Basically, the capacity of SSD may not be suitable for handling a huge amount of image software.
Is wacom mobile studio pro SSD replacement a countermeasure?
