I accidentally deleted my selection tool and I don't know know how to make it appear again. Please help

If you have deleted the tool, you can add the initial sub tool from within PEINT.
If you hide the tool, please check it from the window on the upper bar to display it.

Thanks for answering! But I don't know how to add the initial sub tool. I would click "Revert to Initial Settings" and nothing would happen.
I ended up using "Create Custom Sub Tool" and got the lasso, ellipse, etc... tools back. But I don't know if I got all the tools back properly. I might be missing something.
I was thinking about holding SHIFT when launching Paint but then I would lose all my custom tools and the tools I downloaded from the Clip Studio community site.

I actually don't know how to update Clip Studio Paint EX or to check which version I have. I thought the program updated itself automatically.

No data will be lost by the update.
If you are uncertain, back up the entire [CELSYS] folder in the document just in case.
