With Clip Studio Pro, I heard you have to restore the subscription after 3 years and purchase EX once the time runs out. If you buy Clip Studio Ex, do you never have to pay for it again?

6 years agoIt's a one-time only purchase for both Pro and Ex, there's no need to renew or repurchase unless you upgrade. The only Clip Studio version that has a subscription fee is the Ipad version, which after the first 6 months is on a per-month basis.
For the computer version Pro is the basic version, and Ex is more like a deluxe version with a few extra features. If you buy the Pro version for the lower price (which, again, you only have to do once) and decide at a later date to upgrade to the Ex version you can simply pay the difference.- English
