Affinity Designer vs Clip Studio Paint

Which one would you prefer to draw it in? And explain why.

Prefer if coming from someone who used both, and this is just purely for illustrations, no animation or comic involved. PC version alone, not mobile.

I'm currently using Affinity Designer and is now deciding if I should switch to Clip Studio Paint or not. I might switch still cause of the comic, but isn't currently sure if I should buy but if it's better outside of comic too then that might encourage me to buy more.

Thank you :D

As a characteristic of software, Designer is closer to Illustrator and CLIP STUDIO PAINT is closer to Photoshop in terms of Adobe products.
I think it's difficult to compare because the method of drawing is different.
CLIP STUDIO PAINT's "path function" in Adobe products is very poor, and it is not possible to express "faces" on vectors.
If you are accustomed to vector drawing in Designer and switch to CLIP STUDIO PAINT, you will have a hard time getting used to the difference.

↑ Here, there is a period where you can try CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX (there are no more restricted functions than PRO, you can try the functions of the higher version) for 30 days for free, so I think you should try it. ..

I had CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX first,
I also bought Affinity Designer as a trial,
At first, I had the impression that it was difficult to use because the operations around the layers were slightly different.
The impression that CLIP STUDIO PAINT is intuitively easy to operate (although you may have been accustomed to this earlier)

CLIP STUDIO PAINT has abundant materials such as pen types and textures, so it feels easy to use.

Affinity Designer has a convenient target function,
I felt that it would be nice to be able to easily create various patterns by using a mirror and increasing the number.
(I also have Affinity Photo, but it also has the same function.)

I'm used to CLIP STUDIO PAINT when drawing characters and single pictures, so I use that.
I think it's a good idea to use Affinity Designer together for logo and other designs.
