There are many ways to do it, but if you want to reproduce it yourself
Around 4 → Screen
Around 5 → Soft light
I thought so. So after deciding (≒ creating) the rough color, I drew it while picking it up with a dropper.
You may use additional addition for the parts you want to shine the most.
The layering effect can be completely opposite depending on the color you choose, so the processing process really varies from person to person.
There is no way to accurately judge how they actually do it by just asking them from the video.
And this is just a matter of taking screenshots at the appropriate time and connecting them at each stage when the drawing has progressed to a certain extent.
One screenshot should not be one process (one processing layer). Therefore, I used the expressions 4 "atari" and 5 "atari."

For 4, I may have created an overlay layer and brushed it.
Overlays can work either brightly or darkly, depending on the color.
Multiplication tends to make colors dull.

In 5, the bright areas are either expressions of direct sunlight, dodging, or addition. I don't really understand the details.
You can see that the dark areas of the hair are also applied with "Normal" and adjusted to be slightly lighter, so I think the process is more complicated than I thought.

The process has changed quite a bit since then.
