PS. I wish I could answer this, but I want to make my own 3D backgrounds and accessories for my manga, and I'm thinking of buying 3D production software, but I don't know which one is easier to use. I decided to do a free trial version of software called Metasequoia, which was found to be easy to use when I searched for it. It is assumed that the frequency of making things is about 60% for artificial things and about 40% for natural things. It is undecided whether to make a character, but if it can be made, it may be made. In other words, it is ideal to be able to make various things evenly, but please tell us your experience and advice.

I will go in order.
1 Check how many current versions of Mac OS are and how many can be updated on your computer without any problems. It may not always be up to date
2 Make a backup of all the data on your current computer
3 Execute the OS update
After doing the above
4 Start downloading when you can confirm that the OS version can be used without problems with "Metasequoia"
I think you can press the icon of your computer with the screenshot
as a side note
On the "Metasequoia" page
Recommended environment is Mac with compatible OS pre-installed
One of the following
• macOS Mojave (10.14)
• macOS Catalina (10.15)
• macOS Big Sur (11.x)
Memory 8GB or more
Monitor resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels or higher
Equipped with Retina display

2 years agoYes? Before, I thought I'd use it if it was a story that the modeler could use for free. Why did you run to Metasequoia?
The free version can't output to file formats other than Metasequoia's original format (MQO), so even if you try hard to make it, it doesn't make sense if you don't buy it after all?
3D production software is compatible, so why not decide after using all of them? I don't think it makes sense to ask people. I also have strengths and weaknesses in software, so I can't narrow down to one.- Japanese

Mr. Mikiuchi> I found that the current version of MacOS is 10.12.6 when I checked "About this Mac", but how can I find out what can be updated on this computer? ?? I don't remember what this computer was like when I bought it many years ago.
Apple Apple> As a result of referring to the link (especially the second one), it says "Click to update the sidebar". Where is the sidebar? Does it mean "update" that is written alongside "recommended", "ranking", and "purchased"? If so, when I click it, it just says "No app updates" and nothing happens.
Mr. Triumph> Modeler is just like a tutorial of various 3D software, and I thought that it is a software that can make 3D but the quality is low, but is it different? .. The main role is like an intermediary to divert 3D made with other software to paint. I decided to buy Metasequoia because I didn't want to waste as much money as possible and wanted to try it with the free version.- Japanese

2 years agoThere is "Software Update" in the bottom right button of "About this Mac". If you press here, the update will come out from the environment settings.
In addition, the model etc. will appear as iMac (○○ …… 2017) in the row immediately below MacOS.
Although it is information on your personal computer, you will be asked variously when you need Apple's support if you do not put it in a place where you can grasp the serial number and what type of item you purchased. So if you don't understand, you may not be able to get support. Also, even if it breaks down and is discarded, it will not be recycled.- Japanese

2 years agoBlender is said to be Mr. Kisa, but there is a free manual.
Blender Basic Exercise (Associate Professor, Faculty of Systems Engineering, Wakayama University, Mr. Kohei Tokai)
https://forest.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/1302036.html
I read it all, page 1400. If it's modeling, it's OK if you read 1/4- Japanese
