I bought the full 219 clip studio ex. If I understand it, my money is worthlerss since you are going to subscription based. Was the money I paid to get the one time purchase worthless? Do I get anythign for doign that?

If you purchase the one-time payment version of EX download ver. (with serial number), you can only use the PC.
A 30-digit serial number can only be used for PCs.
Other devices require a monthly/annual subscription contract.

If you want to use it with other terminals, you need to make a contract for the device you use.
Example I want to use it on a PC (Windows/Mac) or an iPad.
↑ If you want to use a subscription for both, apply for a 2-device plan.
If you already have the one-time payment version, you have already paid for the PC.
In that case, it is OK if you contract only for the amount you use on another terminal.
