I want to switch between pen and eraser quickly while drawing, without having to press the pen button for a long time. How do I do that?

1 year agoThere is also a technique of switching the pen color to a transparent color instead of switching the pen.

1 year agoLike the previous commenter said, that's a very good alternative in my opinion. It's mostly how I erase too.
I'm pretty sure the default shortcut for it is "C", but if you want to change it: Go to the shortcut settings, in the "option" category, find the shortcut named "switch drawing color and transparent color", edit it and it should work!
Be mindful when using vector layers though, it will erase but will also create transparent vector lines (which regular erasers don't do)!
