Keyboard Glitch

Something weird is going on with the keyboard shortcuts. Every time I press one of them, this strange brush appears for my mouse (even when I hit "O" for object selection). It goes away and switches to the appropriate tool as soon as I move my mouse. But until I do that, all of the keyboard shortcuts stop working.

I used to be able to just press "P" twice in order to get the pencil tool. But now I have to press it once, move my mouse, and then press it again. This glitch also means that I can't hold down a direction key to keep a vector point moving. I select the point, press the key, and then it moves one pixel before automatically deselecting.

For reference, I'm using Clip Studio Paint EX Ver. 2.0.6

I don't understand the sentences in the automatic translation, but I'll write it from my imagination:
    1. Why don't you try redoing the shortcut settings? Just delete [P] and re-register the same one.
    2. Exclude CSP from the monitoring of your security software.
    3. Disconnect the keyboard and mouse from the PC and reconnect them (redo the pairing if you're using a wireless connection).
    4. If you don't mind deleting the shortcut settings once, try [Initialize startup].
How to do it ↓ (Turn on [Shortcut settings] in the dialog here)

After the operation, restart your PC and CSP just to be safe.
If this does not apply, try writing from the "Post an answer" below and you may find another answer.
Or you can ask the official support directly.

Thanks for the suggestion. But I just tried deleting the shortcut commands for all the tools, and that unknown brush still showed up over my mouse. So something is making it respond to the buttons on my keyboard regardless of the shortcut settings.

Also, I can not disconnect my keyboard, because I am working on a laptop.

Strangely, whenever I'm on a cmc file, this glitch disappears. It only shows up for clip files.

I can't see the state of your screen, so I have no idea what you mean by "This strange brush appears on the mouse" or "An unknown brush is on the mouse", but perhaps you mean "The tool icon has disappeared even though the tool exists"? In that case, I think it's not a problem with the shortcut settings, but with the [Tool Palette].

If so, I think this is a similar topic, but is this the situation you're in? Try searching for other keywords that come to mind.

    >tool button disappeared - CLIP STUDIO ASK https://ask.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail?id=96481

    2.
    *Please judge this for yourself*:
You may be able to fix the problem by initializing the [Tool] using the [Initialize Startup] method described above, but this method will reset your customized [Tool Palette] to its default state.
Or turn on all items and perform [Initialize Startup].

If you don't mind rebuilding your entire environment, you may want to try this. (I'm not sure if it will fix the problem because I don't know the state of your problem)

Please back up your settings folder in case it doesn't work. Copy the folder directly and store it in another location.

    3.
Or maybe it has to do with the keyboard layout [QWERTY/AZERTY/QWERTZ, etc.]? ?

I'm sorry, in any case, I can't write any more because I don't know anything about your CSP state, such as the screen or settings.
If you post a screenshot that explains the situation, someone else may be able to answer.
