Is there going to be a one-time plan for ipad in the future?

I'd like to purchase clip studio paint someday, but I'm concerned that if i sign up for an annual plan, a lifetime plan will be implimented, and I'll be stuck.
Is there a known plan in the future that I can save for that's in development, or, if I sign up for a license and one comes out, can I put my payments toward the lifetime?

Since it is necessary to open an app store and pay the costs of maintaining the service, there is no possibility that a lifetime plan will be introduced.

    >If such a plan is released, can I use the payment towards the lifetime plan?

No. In the past, there was something called a Value Plan for Windows and Mac/OS, but it has been discontinued.

The one-time purchase version for PC also requires you to sign a subscription contract such as an update plan or pay for each update,
so it is safe to say that there is 0% chance that a one-time purchase version will be released for mobile devices.

Hi! The short answer is no, I don't think so.
The reason is because it has been released since 2012 and no information about the perpetual license for iPad was ever released or even hinted at. No further information was provided, however, I will provide my own theory as to why the perpetual license is only available on pc and mac. There are different system requirements for each version which are only available for certain types of OS. For example, the perpetual license is only available on the following operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 11, MacOS12/13/14. But even then, on the download page, you will download a version of Clip Studio for either Mac or Windows, which indicate you are downloading an app created for the exact OS you are running, rather than it being customized for everyone. I think this ensures a better experience as they focus on the type of OS you are using rather than trying to focus on multiple at once, which may result in it being less than. On the other hand, iPads use iPadOS and requirements for the operating system are iPadOS16/17. I guess the only comparison I can think of right now is ibis paint x. Even if you don't use ibis paint, you've probably heard people compare the pc experience to the mobile or iPad experience, saying it isn't as good. This is because it was originally intended for people on mobile or tablet.
Another thing is that if they suddenly release a perpetual one time license for iPads, although it will raise their revenue short time, it will cause them to slowly lose money in the long run. This is because a lot of people use CSP on their iPads long-term, so if they buy a one time license, it will save the users a lot of money. This means that revenue will spike, but only momentarily. Currently, on the perpetual license, you still need to pay for upgrades, say version 2.0 to version 3.0. But even then, only some people would opt for the newest version of CSP at all times, while others are content with just using it because they think they have all they need. This means that people will slowly switch out of subscriptions and Clip Studio or Celsys will only lose, never having anything to gain from this.
