Invisible Background Of Animations

I'm unable to export animations with no background. I looked at another question like this, and they said to export it as a GIF with an invisible background, yet I don't have the option for it. I got this back in January, and the update for transparent backgrounds were from last summer, so I don't know what to do. Even if I turn the paper invisible, or merge all my cells together, I still get a completely white background.
