How to get paper texture?

I know there is an ask that exists called "How do I add paper texture?" and it's asking exactly what I want to know: how to add a texture onto the canvas (and not through coloring it with a brush that has a texture).
I've checked the CSP online user guide as well, but it says there that there is a layer effect called "texture combine" but I only have border effect, tone, and layer color.
Just in case it matters: I have Clip Studio Paint Pro, not EX

5 years agoYou need to put some texture on the layer.
Drag texture asset from materials to canvas and scale it to suit your needs,
"texture combine" button pops up in the layer property,
adjust the "strength" parameter.
