how to add brushes you've downloaded so you see them by your tools?

i've googled repeatitily. but people seem to use a different version or i'm just stupid, one of the two.
have no previous erperience with drawing programs.
i've downloaded a brush from the program itself. a colouring brush with some japanese text as title.
it showes up in materials of all places. i don't know why?
any help would be appriciated.

5 years agoOpen materials, find your downloaded brush, click and hold/drag it to your sub-tool panel (brushes panel).
