How do I insert Japanese (kanji, hiragana) text with the text tool?

An illustration I'm working on has Japanese kanji in it, but I don't know how to bring it from Bing translator to Clip Studio Paint. Can anyone help me? Copy and pasting the kanji directly results in a square symbol.

Perhaps the selected font does not contain Japanese?

Just like 秋空広樹 said, your font likely doesn't have Kanji in it.
Try to select the text you pasted in (Ctrl + A), and change the font until the text becomes readable.

I don't know about you, but on my PC, most fonts don't support Kanji, Hiragana, or Katakana.
If you don't want to spend hours searching for a font, Microsoft YaHei should work.
