How do I insert Japanese (kanji, hiragana) text with the text tool?

An illustration I'm working on has Japanese kanji in it, but I don't know how to bring it from Bing translator to Clip Studio Paint. Can anyone help me? Copy and pasting the kanji directly results in a square symbol.

6 years agoJust like 秋空広樹 said, your font likely doesn't have Kanji in it.
Try to select the text you pasted in (Ctrl + A), and change the font until the text becomes readable.
I don't know about you, but on my PC, most fonts don't support Kanji, Hiragana, or Katakana.
If you don't want to spend hours searching for a font, Microsoft YaHei should work.- English
