I recently bought a new computer from my 12 year old computer, and I was trying to transfer my Clip Studio data by backing it up, but an error occurred midway and I was asked to restart it, so it didn't work. It takes a lot of time, so please let me know if there is a good way to do it.

When copying and migrating configuration files, the amount of files is large, so depending on the equipment you are using, it may take several hours or more.
The contents of the blue screen may be confirmed in the Windows event log, but in most cases, it is caused by a computer malfunction.

I've never been asked to reboot, so could you explain in more detail? (What is rebooting?)

Even PCs from 12 years ago had USB3.0 and E-SATA, so I think data transfer would take about 10 minutes.
For my desktop at home, it takes 5 minutes from built-in 2.5-inch HDD to USB-SSD, and 2 minutes from USB-SSD to M.2 NVMe (50GB).

I also bought a new PC this year and transferred my data.

The error message was that a blue screen suddenly appeared and I was asked to restart the computer. I didn't see the error code as it disappeared in an instant. The error occurred while downloading the configuration materials before the backup. As for the time required, I couldn't install it completely so I can't tell you how long it took, but it took about 6 to 8 hours. I just copied the Celsys folder from my old PC to the new PC via USB memory and was able to log in. I don't know if I did it right, but I think I was able to log in.
