Do I have to buy new license if I update to newest version?

I'm using Clip studio EX version 1.6.8 now and want to upgrade to the newest version.
I have the license for my current version but wonder if I have to buy a new one or not after upgrade.

You can use it without problems even if you update it so far

6 years agoNo, 1.7.2 is a free update on Windows and MAC.
But make sure you are connected to internet when launching new version, it seems will connected to server to re-certification the license(No need to do anything, this is automatically action).- English

6 years agoIf you means 1.6.8, no, it will be fine after update.
(unless you are using 1.6.2, 1.6.2 needs trick to update because of different program folder.)
But you can backup "Documents\CELSYS" just in case if any thing wrong.- English
