What happens after updating previously updated material?

Hi, I uploaded a material catalogue to Clip Studio Assets. I had to change out a brush that was missing a setting and this required "updating" the material by replacing with a new material catalogue entirely. The downside, it left a "new version available" stub on the material's webpage and now there is a new page.
My question: What happens in the software for users of the old brush set? Are they notified there is a new version and is this automatically synced?

2 years agoNotifications will be displayed to users, but they will not be "automatically synchronized".
The user decides whether to update or not.
