The automatic selection tool does not wash the colors within the selection range.
If you try to surround it with the selection pen and fill it in, only the line will be filled in and the inside will not be filled in.

8 months agoI think you probably misunderstood the area being selected.
The selection pen is a tool that creates a selection from the area filled in with the pen (colored area).
Once you have selected with the automatic selection tool or selection pen tool, try executing "Selection" -> "Quick Mask" from the top menu.
The selected area will be displayed in red.
If you are drawing with anti-aliased lines, if you want to select an area with many gaps, or if the numerical settings for gap closing and color error are not appropriate, the selection will not work properly.
