Modifier Settings Scroll wheel on mouse is not working.

In Modifier Key Settings I have Mouse scroll wheel set to "view operation" and under setting "Zoom in by up and zoom out by down" and nothing happens. if I change it to any other Setting " Zoom out, Rotate, Scale, etc...." nothing works either. That being said the scroll wheel does work in other menu window within the program so the mouse works. Are there any suggestions on how I might fix this? Thanks in advance.

30 days agoAre you on an active 3d layer? (object tool enabled). In that case it overwrites mouse settings to match 3d controls. They can be changed from subtool details.
