Change Frame Duration- Feature request

Asked this 5 years ago, and this feature still hasn't changed :')

Here again to ask if Clip Studio's animation timeline could be fixed. The way it handles frame duration is very confusing and messy.

To change how long a frame in clip lasts, you have to drag away the other frames, or manually change how long everything lasts with other settings. And yet, Clip studio has a box at the top right and left of a CLIP of animation to change its duration. Why isn't this feature also built into the individual frames, so we can ripple-edit them? This feature is a must-have in video editing software- so I'm confused why it's still not in Clip.

It would be amazing if Clip Studio could drag the edges of a frame in the timeline to change the duration, like in the attached GIF. You just drag the edges longer or shorter to make the frame last more, and it pushes away the other frames automatically instead of overwriting them. But one of the edges will drag and overwrite a frame if you drag it over [at the end of the GIF]

Animating in CLIP STUDIO is currently a bit messy because of this. Could this be a possible change in the future?

    I tried finding a place to contact Clip/support directly, but kept getting redirected here. Any idea where I could find this? Google's absolutely useless nowadays. ^^;

    If you are using the Ver.3.0.x portal app, click the help mark in the upper right corner to find a link to "Comments and Requests."
    (There is also a link to the support page in Ver.1.13.2.)

    Excuse me for interrupting.
    CLIP STUDIO PAINT is not software dedicated to animation, so I think it will be a long way off before it has specifications that can meet your needs.
    It is clear from the comparison of the number of questions here on ASK that animation-related demand accounts for less than 10% of the total.
    No matter how many times we request it from the development side, there is very little resource allocation for animation functions, and development is an overwhelmingly low priority.
    Also, even before the resource allocation is insufficient, I think the manpower for animation development is also poor.
    Still, we have not given up and have been making requests for the past 10 years. https://support.clip-studio.com/en-us/contact/opinion-request

    P.S.:
    Although it's not as flexible as the function you showed with the GIF file,
    you can select "Insert Frame" and "Delete Frame" from "Timeline" in the Animation menu.
