connect to smartphone using mobile hotspot?

i saw the feature of using your phone as companion mode but the place i’m living in currently doesn’t have wifi routers or anything. is it possible to use mobile hotspot to the main device and also use companion mode?

29 days agoG'day I'm only new to this I hope this helps you I'm using my smartphone Android Motorola hotspot for my tablet which is Lenovo Tablet I tried to use my phone as a companion but I got reply saying I couldn't become a companion as it will only accept galaxy phone I hope this works I took a screenshot of what it had said and I will link it here for you to read, but basically hotspot will probably work as long as you have a galaxy phone
