The text in the story editor is garbled

I'm using the iPad version of Clip Studio Paint, and when I copy and paste from Google Docs to the Story Editor, the text suddenly becomes garbled. I can copy and paste if I load the text into the notes app on my iPad. I can't copy and paste from Google Docs, which I'm using as an iPad app. I'm using the latest versions of both Google Docs and Clip Studio Paint, and my iPad is also the latest version. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? How can I solve this? I look forward to your response.
