clsp is basically a drawing software and is not suitable for photo editing.
Modifying existing images is not included in its uses, and the selection tool basically just checks for continuity of the same color and converts it into a selection area, so it probably won't work. In the first place, it is only human values to distinguish between background and subject when expressing something in an image.
Personally, I think it would be useful to have such a function because I cut out parts from a rough sketch and draw the details for each part.
It is hard to say because it costs money and takes time to upgrade if you aim for too many functions.
If you dare to use clsp, you can manually create a mask for the side you want to keep and erase the other parts, or use the eraser tool to erase them, or whatever method you like.
