I don't understand the difference between a selection and a quick mask. Can you explain it in a way that's easy to understand?

13 days agoQuick Mask is a function that converts the area drawn (painted) with a drawing tool (brush, fill tool, etc.) on the Quick Mask layer into a "selection area."
Why not read through the "Reference Guide" in the "Help" menu at the top of PAINT?
