5 years agoThanks, but I don't know how to do that. I am a brand new use. I don't know how to select the layer, or to copy/paste it to the other canvas. Do you select the layer in the list of layers? or do you select it by drawing a box around it on the canvas?
And then what button do you push to copy/paste? I found one that says 'copy/paste' but I can't get it to copy the layer to a different canvas - probably because I don't know how to select it

5 years agoFor "How to select", usually click on the item or item name portion.
For layers, click on the layer name part in "Layers palette" to select "Layers".
Copying is possible even if there is a selection range that encloses in a box with "selecting a layer" in it.
After copying is complete, select another canvas (switch) and paste.
If the canvas size is the same, it will be pasted in the same place. If the canvas size is different, it will be pasted based on the upper left.
Copy and paste is fundamental as a basic work as a creative work, so I think that the question of that hand is not usually possible with ASK here.
