3D model controls have stopped working

I use 3D models frequently, and everything was working perfectly less than 24hrs ago but suddenly the operation controls for 3D models have stopped working. I've lost the ability to pose them and move them around. I can't find any reason for this issue and can't find any way to fix it.

Try restarting the program, or do a reinstall.
Is this only happening with some specific models, or with all of them?

This is either a bug within a program, or your computer can't handle the model - issue with memory, or maybe some pesky Windows update is getting in the way

If it won't be fixed after you reinstall the software, maybe contact the support team?

Thanks for the response and advice. The issue is with all 3D model controls. I'm using a Huion Kamvas Pro 16 and running the software on a Dell Alienware gaming PC. The spec requirements for the software looks to be easily met, and I haven't had any issue with being able to run any games or other software. The 3D model operation controls have worked perfectly on Clip Studio Paint Pro until now. Honestly feels like a glitch or like a setting has inadvertently been changed or, as you said, perhaps a Windows update has caused this.

yeah, I imagine that your PC is powerful enough XD
Geez, I don't know what to say. Well, after a reinstall, if the problem disappears then it's a bug within CSP. If the problem persists then it's your computer's settings got messed up somehow. Keep us, the rest of the users, updated if you end up solving it - apparently you're not the only one with this type of problem. ->

I found a closed thread similar to yours (sadly, it didn't get resolved; at least, the OP didn't say anything):
    https://ask.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail?id=828
But they added screenshots. Does that situation look like yours?

I found other posts on reddit (again, not resolved), that talk about having this issue. So, I'd say it's a bug within CSP.

Reinstalling is the way to go.

    Also, here:
    https://www.clip-studio.com/site/gd_en/csp/userguide/csp_userguide/500_menu/500_menu_file_environment_win_3d.htm
    they say:
"If 3D materials are not displaying correctly, turning off [Use multi-sampling] may improve the way the 3D materials are displayed."
    File->Preferences->Performance-> Multi-Sampling

FIXED! Will skip the millions of things that didn't work, the bizarre rabbit holes that led nowhere. By the way, reinstalling didn't work either, which I found surprising. Had even been in contact with support, taking all their advice but to no avail. The solution was crazy simple:

    1. Began a new project and dragged a 3D model onto my canvas
    2. After selecting Operation, looked to the right and below the "Sub Tool (Operation)" section
    3. Clicked on the spanner icon just below the bottom right corner of the section that says, "Tool property (Object)"
    4. This pops up a box that says, "Sub Tool detail."
    5. Clicked the eye on the box where it says, "Add Selection," and clicked the blue box that says, "Select New."

No idea how this setting had been changed, but that was it. The ability to move all 3D objects immediately opened back up. Anyway, thanks so much for your time and for trying to help. So glad to have that working again!
